Katherine Becerra Valdivia is an attorney from Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN) in Chile (2008). She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri (2020). In addition, she has a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from UCN (2012), and a master's degree in Higher Education from Universidad Mayor, Chile (2017). Currently, Dr. Becerra Valdivia serves as an Assistant Professor at UCN and holds the position of Associate Teaching Professor at Universidad Central de Chile. Ignacio Cabib is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Public Health at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from “LIVES: Overcoming Vulnerability: Life Course Perspectives'', a groundbreaking Swiss Research Center funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and hosted by the Université de Lausanne and Université de Genève. Bernardita is an educational psychologist who obtained her PhD in education at King’s College London UK. Her doctoral research allowed her to consolidate her academic interest and knowledge in initial teacher training as a way of finding the key points that will allow to improve educational quality through decreasing the existing gaps between low- and high-income sectors.
