The toll of journalists murdered in 2017 has made Mexico the most dangerous country for journalists, outside of conflict zones.

While Mexican officials insist they are working to stop the killing of journalists, organized crime gangs and corrupt officials offended by reporters' coverage are believed to be behind the killings.

Join us for a conversation with journalists covering Mexico as they share challenges and potential solutions to the attacks on freedom of speech and press in the country.

Presentations will be in Spanish. Q&A in Spanish and English

Lunch will be served.
