Latin America and the Caribbean Working Group (LACWG) Event 2

El Latin America and the Caribbean Working Group (LACWG) se complace en invitarles a su segunda sesión del año académico este próximo miércoles 23 de octubre en el edificio 50 (Departamento de Antropología), salón 51A (Colloquium Room) a las 6:00 pm. El LACWG es un espacio de encuentro para discutir temas y problemas sobre América Latina y el Caribe desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria. Durante el fall quarter reflexionaremos en torno al tema Desapariciones. En esta segunda sesión conversaremos sobre el documental El botón de nácar (2015) del director chileno Patricio Guzmán.  

The Latin America and the Caribbean Working Group (LACWG) is pleased to invite you to its second 2019-2020 session this coming Wednesday, October 23rd in Building 50 (Department of Anthropology), Room 51A (Colloquium Room) at 6:00 pm. The LACWG is an open space to discuss topics and problems about Latin America and the Caribbean from an interdisciplinary perspective. This fall quarter we will reflect on the theme Desapariciones (Disappearances). During this second session we will discuss Chilean director Patricio Guzmán's documentary El botón de nácar (The Pearl Button). English subtitles will be available.
