Molly Aufdermauer is the Academic Grants and Outreach Coordinator at Stanford University’s Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), where she manages a diverse portfolio of fellowships, grants, and visiting scholar programs supported by the Tinker, Luksic, and Nabuco foundations. She also leads educational outreach initiatives for K–16 educators, advancing access to Latin American language instruction and strengthening area studies across disciplines. Her work supports Stanford’s broader commitment to community engagement and global education at both the university and pre-collegiate levels.
Born and raised in Northern California, Molly Aufdermauer received her B.A. in Spanish from Brigham Young University and her M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from San José State University. As part of her studies, she spent a year studying language and literature in Sevilla and Granada, Spain. Her academic interests are focused in comparative Spanish-English linguistics and language instruction. Molly has taught English language classes through Stanford R&DE's Stepping Stones to Success program as well as through Nuestra Casa in East Palo Alto. In her free time, she likes run, bike, hike, and spend time with her family.
