CLAS offers thematic national and international summer professional development programs that are open to, and welcome participation from, teachers across the country.

Teachers of Heritage Spanish learners design instructional materials and practices that promote literacy development and align with California World Language Standards, Common Core State Standards, and AP Spanish Language and Culture course themes.

This competitive program brings together educators and service professionals to learn Portuguese language and culture in order to expand the offering of Portuguese language programs and broaden the reach of professional services.

Américas Book Award professional development workshops and webinars bring authors together with teachers to discuss incorporating award-winning literature into K-14 coursework.

Supported by Stanford Global Studies, EpicConnect is a platform that builds community and promotes collaboration around global education initiatives across the nation’s community colleges.
