The Challenge of Indigenous Peoples in the Democratic Agenda of Latin America Today

Preeminent scholars and practitioners will gather for a workshop to review recent research and publications regarding the social inclusion of indigenous peoples in the context of democratic agendas throughout Latin America. The group will build upon the 2006 CAF publication "Los Pueblos Indigenas en la Agenda Democratica: Estudios de caso de Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, y Peru" and work towards the generation of concrete policy recommendations. Workshop events include presentations by authors and participants as well as a high-level roundtable discussion. A limited number of student participants may be admitted.
