Master's Degree Repositories of Past Projects

In collaboration with Stanford University Libraries, our digital repositories allow us to keep record of our students' final projects throughout the years. CLAS is proud of the amazing work students have produced as proper scholars of the region!

Capstone Projects

A capstone, modeled after a peer-reviewed journal article, is about 25 pages plus a critical bibliography. It makes one central argument and contributes to Latin American Studies scholarship.

Thesis Projects

A thesis, modeled after a doctoral dissertation, typically spans 40–60 pages. It allows for more sustained, multi-faceted arguments and may include graphs, maps, statistics, and other visuals.
